the studio

The studio is within the 120 Kisco Avenue building in Mount Kisco, just off of both Route 117 and the Saw Mill Parkway. The space is freshly remodeled, with beautiful wood floors, soft lighting, and plenty of yoga supplies. You are welcome to bring your own mat, and we also have mats, blocks, straps, and blankets for use. ​The space is designed to be welcoming and calming for yoga students at all levels.

Whether you're new to yoga or a long time yogi, you are welcome at Peaceful Warrior studio. Our teachers are trained to lead classes with all levels of students, and we hold a weekly class designed for beginners to help you start a yoga practice. If you're nervous about attending your first yoga class or coming back to it after being away for a while, don't worry! We're here to lead you into the practice wherever you are and whatever experience you have - you are welcome to come a few minutes early to get set up and talk with the teacher for the class.

This Class utilizes, stretch bands, pilates balls, ankle bands and light handheld weights.

Get a complete body workout through a high energy and low impact class that tones your muscles with isolated movements, isometric exercises, orthopedic stretches and light weights complimented by a continual fat burning process.  This class tones your seat, arms, abs, legs, back, thighs, and improves your posture.

You will use your own body weight for resistance targeting each of your muscle groups to the point of fatigue.  Then you will stretch those muscles in a way that promotes long and lean muscle growth developing a sleek micro-targeted ballet body for a long and lean physique. Grip socks recommended.

Patricia McMann is the owner of New Light Laser and the new Peaceful Warrior Studio. She has been practicing yoga for many years, and recently got her yoga teacher certification. Throughout the years, her yoga practice has expanded and become an important part of her life, and she's excited to get to share her joy for yoga with the community.
